　　Cleaning of laser lens

　　Operation Rules

　　During the installation and cleaning processing of lens, any adhesive object, even the finger print or oil drop, will decrease the performance and reduce service life. Therefore, the following prevention measures should be adopted:

　　1. Cannot take lens with naked fingers. Wear fingerstall or rubber gloves.

　　2. During the operation, please avoid lens surface damage. As taking lens, do not touch the film, but take the edge of lens. Do not take lens with any tools, such as tweezers or others.

　　3. The lens should be put on the lens paper, avoiding damage. Do not put lens on the rough or hard surface.

　　4. The lens should be put in dry and neat place to test and clean.

　　5. Do not talk over the lens. Keep the foods, drinks or other latent pollutants away from the operating environment.

　　Cleaning Procedure

　　First step: Blow off the floats on the surface of component by air ball. It is necessary especially for lens with tiny particles and floccule on the surface. However, do not use compressed air of production line, because the compressed air contains oil and water drop, which will increase pollution to the lens. (The lens with microscope base just only needs the first step.)

　　Second step: Slightly clean the lens with acetone, especially clean the dust and finger print on the surface. Cotton ball dipped with acetone should clean lens in light condition and moves circularly. Once the cotton bud is dirty, please replace a new one.

　　Cotton bud or cotton ball with dipped acetone or propanol scrubs the surface slightly. Scrub the surface as soon as possible. It is useful for liquid evaporation, without any mark. (Suggest using paper-stem cotton bud, high-quality surgical cotton ball and reagent-grade acetone or propanol.) If the dust can not be removed, please continue the third step.

　　Third step: Clean medium pollutants (spit or oil drop) measurably. Scrub the surface slightly with cotton bud or cotton ball dipped with white vinegar and scour away the redundant white vinegar with dry cotton bud. And then dip the cotton bud or cotton ball with acetone at once, gently wipe the surface, and remove the redundant acetic acid (Suggest using paper-stem cotton bud, high-quality surgical cotton ball and acetic acid of 6% concentration.)
